turenchi - Our Official Blog

Admittedly, its been more than 100 days since that day in January when we first ‘turned on the lights’ at www.turenchi.com, but first 100 days sounds a heck of a lot better than “first 114 days 8 hours and 3 minutes”.

So what has happened since we opened shop in January? For one, we get a heck of a lot more than the 2 visitors we got on day 1.  In our first month, most people interfaced with turenchi via our facebook application (apps.facebook.com/turenchi), but the focus has since shifted to our main website. We’ve also added an RSS feed, a mobile site (www.turenchi.com/mobile), and a widget you can embed in your own website (www.turenchi.com/widgets).

Along the way, we have run into people who mostly without prompting, helped us spread the word about turenchi, and for that we say a big thank you to everyone especially Loy of the now defunct startupsnigeria , and the guys from mootbox.com and notjuskok.com respectively. It has not been all smooth sailing though, as a fair number of people have had nothing good to say about us.

Consider this blog   turenchi’s official notice board, where we’ll try to keep you up to date with our plans , and you in turn  can leave feedback, especially as we introduce new features in the coming weeks.
